The room was spacious. The staff spoke many languages and they were overall very accommodating. During my stay there was a sake tasting and yukata rental service which were so much fun. Everything was worth the price, although on the pricey side, I never felt like I was being overcharged.

All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! I can't remember the name of the main staff member who assisted us but he had a British accent and all our interactions with him were to be commended. The check-in process was seamless and easy, which was much appreciated after a long day of travel, and our requests for items during our stay were accommodated so readily. We booked the family room with the bunk beds and really liked the set up of the room; several lighting options were available and we liked the roller doors that could partition the kitchen/living space form the sleeping area. The dual sink set up was handy with four of us staying together as well, plus the larger size of the bath was also appreciated (one of us is over 6ft tall). We loved the location - it's so close to Kiyomizu-dera and several restaurants, as well as the river. Will definitely book here again if we visit Kyoto on our next trip to Japan :)

Property was super awesome. Myself and my partner were greeted by friendly staff that helped us check in. We had arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there while we went out exploring, when we returned to check in finally they had already taken our bags to our room which was super nice. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of space . Love the organic modern feel the rooms have and the modern touch of the table to control the lights, ac etc. The hotel is super close to everything you need shops transport etc. Definitely recommend.

We are a family with a 6yo, 4yo and a 4mo baby. The hotel provided a free crib, a real one not a camping crib we usually get at hotels. The small apartment/room was very comfortable for a family. I had a microwave that fits Avent bottle sterilizator, a fridge, a freezer, a fully stocked kitchen. While we chose not to cook and mostly brought in goods from the convini (Lawson is better than 7/11 in my opinion, both are bear by) or take aqay from the station's McDonalds, Avanti's food court (right across the street) or Coco Curry. A large dining table, a spacious shower and bath and a laundry room (operated by coins) made traveling with kids a pleasant experience. We chose Kyoto station branch as we used it as base for Osaka and Nagoya too, and it made traveling around easier. For us it was a perfect location. The hotel also has a game lending library and we enjoyed several evenings playing with our kids.
