The hostel is very well located. Within a few minutes walk, you can find a convenience store, a few restaurants and souvenir shops, the post office, bus stops, and the Onsen where you go with the 400-yen ticket you purchase at the hostel. We were very lucky to have the four-bed room to just two of us, so it was not crowded. Our room and the shared space are quite clean. There is one toilet on each floor. The receptionist is friendly and gave us tips on where to dine and take the local bus. The Onsen at the nearby hotel is great. The people who stayed that night were respectful and quiet.

Beds are comfortable, even though We would have preferred to sleep on the floor in a Japanese room instead on a cradle single bed. The atmosphere felt like home — the place is run by a lovely couple who truly care about the guest experience. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared, with clear attention to detail. One of the highlights was definitely the two adorable cats, Kiki and Kuma, who added so much charm to our stay. We also loved the stargazing experience — being able to see the night sky so clearly, getting thoughtful explanations, and even receiving a beautiful photo made it truly unforgettable.
