It was sooooo good! I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel, it was pristine! The bed was super comfy and the TV had streaming services and lots of channel options. I liked the marble surfaces in the room with the wood parts, it was really chic and fancy! And BREAKFAST!! It was to die for, so many options both Japanese and western. I just kept getting up getting more to my plate. Also the little notes next to the foods were really helpful, especially if you are interested in the Japanese cuisine. All in all we liked it so much that we came back stayed for another night at the end of our trip. It is also very close to the airport, just one stop and the subway station is literally in front of the hotel. There is also a pharmacy and currency exchange atm and coffee shop nearby (2-3 minutes) walking distance.

Place was super super clean. Really maintained and loved that it was spacious. This was way bigger than my shinjuku hotel. It was very comfortable for 2 people and could fit up to 5. It's also close to a 7-11 and the station is right upfront. Very very convenient for being close to the airport.

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed at Vista Ikegami for a week. We loved the place and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's located in a quiet residential area. Fairly easy to get to public transportation without suitcases: The bus stop is around the corner (buses run from about 7 AM until 10 PM). The closest subway station, Ikegami, is about an 11-minute walk (we used it a lot), and there is another one 22 minutes away (we used it once and did not enjoy the up-and-downhill walk). The living room has traditional tatami flooring with a traditional small table - we enjoyed having daily family dinners in that room. The bedroom has two beds (size is bigger than twin but not queen, and it felt smaller than full size in the US). There are also 3 mattresses that we could roll out in the living room, so 5 people can sleep very comfortably in this place. There is no door between the living room and the bedroom. There are 2 AC units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There is a washer that's very easy to use with a 30-minute wash cycle. The washer allowed us to travel to Japan with carry-on luggage only for a 20-day trip. There is no dryer - we used the drying rack. The host provided excellent directions for all the equipment. Fully functional kitchen with a refrigerator. For groceries (our kids wanted to try various noodle bowls) we used two places: FamilyMart around the corner (about a 2-3 minute walk) and MaxValu Express supermarket (next to Ikegami station, on the way to Vista Ikegami). Overall, this was truly a HOME AWAY FROM HOME for us!
