Best Hotel

Best Hotel

Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo

Situated 5-minutes away on foot from Shin-Okubo Station, a large local Korean neighborhood, Best Hotel is a convenient location from where to explore Shinjuku. I was very happy with my stay. It was a bit confusing getting there, but once you get your bearings you'll appreciate its location. 7 min walk to a JR station (Okubo), 2 mins walk to a 7/11 that has an atm that takes international cards, and 2 mins walk to Don Quijote, this well known 24/7 super market. near the main road that has shops, restos and anything you need. The nearby JR station is just 1 stop away from Shinjuku station, a major transport hub.Room and bathroom are spacious,  bed comfortable. TV has no english channels but it didnt bother me since wifi connection was strong.

Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho

Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho

Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo

Opening in October 2014, Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho is located in a bright entertainment district just a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station. Lots to like: (1) location (2) breakfast — interesting, but good and good coffee (3) choice of pillow shape and firmness (4) public bath was great, (5) women get to choose from a variety of different cosmetics and personal items everyday. We enjoyed the hotel a lot, on a 2 and a 1/2 week trip to Japan where we stayed in a number of hotels throughout the country. We rate this hotel very highly - great location and value. Also, pro tip in Japan, coffee can be expensive, so the fact that its included here, and actually good, was a great bonus.

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo

Opened in December 2013 and situated right at the heart of the lively Kabuki-cho area in Shinjuku, Granbell Hotel offers modern and stylish guest rooms with unique design concepts. I was surprised when I first arrived at the hotel front desk, there were 3 staff working though it was quarter past 12 in the morning. The check in was a quick one, hassle-free. I asked for hotel area information, the staff showed me the booklets about attractions on the shelf and gave a leaflet about chatbot called Bebot. I followed the steps on the leaflets and used it to search for restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The results were instantly shown and I was really impressed. Bebot even helped to do the restaurant reservation! It was really helpful and saved me a lot of time by doing the searching on my own. My room was located at floor 12 and I can see city view from window of my room. Amenities were excellent as they have everything including toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hair band, ear cleaning buds that are rarely provided by other hotels in other countries. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I had soundly sleep that night. The next day when it was about the check out time, I got a reminder call from hotel staff so that I wouldn’t be late and charged extra due to late check out. Overall, the service of the hotel was excellent. I’ll absolutely stay here again when I return to Japan. Highly recommended!
