Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, Koishiya offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Service was excellent, staff were friendly, dinner was yummy and the onsen that they brought us to was not only free but also very good!! Free transport to and from station and also to Monkey park! Overall great experience and definitely recommended if u are visiting! Do try the ramen at Grandma House within 1 min walk from Koishiya. Taste of nice authentic home cooked food by 80 yrs old grandma.

Only a 10-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park, Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Akira San is a kind host always ready to take care of you. The place is beautiful, with a private onsen and the room clean and cozy. It is close both to the station and the monkey park. Akira runs this place with his beautiful family Highly recommended

Minshuku Miyama offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can relax in the public outdoor hot-spring baths and wear Japanese Yukata robes. Everything about my experience at Miyama Minshuku was perfect. From the Japanese tatami room with a view on the snowy mountains, the relaxing outdoor onsen bath, the incredible hospitability from the owners who do not speak English but have organised everything in order to give all the important information to their foreign guests, the delicious breakfast and dinner in the cosy living room, they also came to pick my friend and I at the station, drove us to the Monkey Park, and drove us back to the station on our last day.

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. It's very conveniently located close to the Yudanaka station. There are plenty of good restaurants for your choice, and 9 public onsens to use for free. The hotel owners are very nice couples with good English, they picked up us and dropped us off from the station. The hotel room is spacious and clean with traditional tatami setting, with private bathroom. It has two indoor onsens and one outdoor onsen (24 hours). We will come back for sure and we strongly recommend it.

The owner and all the staffs are really nice. We had a wonderful experience. We like the private Onsen too.. They drive us to snow monkey and to the station. We definitely go back.

The ryokan really nice and most cleanest !!! But the important thing was all their staffs. We have been to Snow Park before checkin and have a hard snow we call them to confirm pick up time at Yunakawa Station but they offer to pick up us at Snow Monkey Park and took us to the station to bring our luggage to their Ryokan♥️♥️ Make us really impression ♥️♥️ Food was Great and they have small onsen outdoor it was very nice and fantastic !!!

The location was close to the snow monkey park and we had the added bonus of not only being a very lovely Ryokan but it was also on a street full of public onsens to visit if we wished.

On just a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Station, Wafu no Yado Masuya features beautiful Japanese-style rooms, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms boast a private outdoor hot spring bath. We liked such friendly people who welcomed us. They even fetched us at the train station.

Everything, Great atmosphere, we done all the town Onsens which you get a little towel to stamp at every one so that makes a great souvenir as well as our own private Onsen which meant we didn't get to use the lovely in house Onsens (they have 5). Food is excellent and wonderful staff. Perfect.
