Bukchonae

Jongno-Gu, Seoul

Located in Seoul, within a 17-minute walk of Jongmyo Shrine and 1.1 miles of Jogyesa Temple, Bukchonae has accommodations with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... The host, Patrick, is very friendly and helpful. He makes us feel at home right at the moment we enter the house. He goes the extra mile to help us with the directions, what and where to buy for gifts, or even supplies us with the ice gel to store our medicines. The room is a little small for 3 adults; but it’s the traditional design of every hanok plus the place is very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is wonderful. We can spend hours exploring every single corner of the region without feeling bored or tired. The next time I visit Seoul, I’ll definitely stay at this house again.

Cheong Yeon Jae Hanok Hotel

Jongno-Gu, Seoul

Located in the center of Bukchon Hanok Village, CheongYeonJae offers traditional Korean bedrooms with convenient western bathrooms. The service was customised to our needs, we were vegetarians and they prepared veg food for us. And on 2 mornings, we need to book taxi at 6.30am for morning hike, they were there providing us with excellent service and helped us booked our taxi, ensuring the Drivers know the way. And we needed to wash laundry and it was FOC :) The style of the Hanok was traditional and we even learnt the old way of locking the wooden sliding doors. What an experience! Would definitely come back and stay with them if I were to visit Seoul in the future. Thank you!

Located in center of Seoul, just 2625 feet from Insadong, Gongsimga Guest house provides easy access to the city’s many attractions. Myeongdong shopping are is just 1.4 mi away. We had a wonderful stay at Gongsimga Hanok. This hanok from the 1960s has an old world charm about it. Mr and Mrs Kim are excellent hosts. Helping us to pick the best walking routes of the old Bukchon area as well as some great restaurants and korean spa recommendations. When the temperature dropped a little during the last few days, Mr Kim turned on the floor heating to keep us cosy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Korea. Will definitely revisit

Set in a traditional Korean house, building Raon Guest house features guestrooms with futon bedding and free Wi-Fi. The property is 1181 feet from Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was in a great location, conveniently near Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. Staying at the Raon Guesthouse was like staying in one of the traditional Hanok houses we had seen. The underfloor heating was a warm welcome back from long days exploring in the early spring chill, and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

Mumum Guesthouse

Jongno-Gu, Seoul

Located a 10-minute walk from Anguk Subway Station (Line 3), Mumun Guest house in Bukchon Hanok Village offers traditional Korean-style rooms, shared living room, shared kitchen and a garden. I’ve always saw the traditional korean hanok (old house) but never imagined that the day would come and I would experience living in it. Mumum made come true. It was a wonderful experience and madam (songnan) I hope the name is written correctly, was a wonderful, kind person. I enjoyed her breakfast. I highly recommend it. You won’t regret staying there. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
