Traveling with two young children, we were impressed by how effortlessly the team ensured our stay was both comfortable and memorable. A Warm Welcome for Families: From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine care. The staff at Madada Mogador went above and beyond to make us feel at home, paying special attention to my children with thoughtful gestures like coloring books and local treats. Their friendliness and attentiveness made all of us feel instantly at ease. Elegant Accommodations with a Family Touch: Our room was an oasis of comfort, blending minimalist elegance with Moroccan charm. It was spacious enough for our family, with a cozy seating area where the kids could relax after a day of exploration. The highlight was the private terrace overlooking the ocean—a breathtaking view that we enjoyed together as a family every evening. A Culinary Delight: Breakfast at Madada Mogador was a feast for the senses, served on a stunning rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the sea and medina. The fresh pastries, local jams, and perfectly brewed coffee were a treat for us, while the staff thoughtfully prepared child-friendly options for my little ones. Dining here felt like a cherished family ritual. Perfectly Located for Exploration: The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right at the edge of the medina and steps away from Essaouira’s iconic beach. This made it easy to explore the vibrant streets, markets, and cultural landmarks while being close enough to return for a midday rest. The staff also recommended family-friendly activities, such as camel rides on the beach and visits to local artisan workshops, which delighted my children.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this new beautiful riad in Essaouira, and it was an unforgettable experience. The riad’s location was perfect—tucked away in the heart of the medina, just a short walk to the beach and the vibrant souks, yet peaceful and serene once inside. The interior was a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern comforts. High ceilings, intricate tilework, and a cozy courtyard and beautiful terrace. My room was perfect for me, with a comfortable bed, tasteful décor, and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What really set this riad apart was the service. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, they made every effort to ensure my stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this riad enough for anyone visiting Essaouira. It offers the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you’re in town for the culture, the food, or just to unwind, this riad is a true gem.

The design and the staffs of the hotel are amazing

The accommodation is very well located in the Medina. It is comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with great attention to every detail. It has 3 levels of living space, plus a rooftop deck with plenty of seating options. That does mean a lot of walking up and down stairs, but we were fine with that. The whole place is very private, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer (we didn't use), 4 beds and 2 small but lovely baths on the two upper levels (both with separate toilets). We were only a couple so used the top level bedroom which had a large comfy bed and was very bright and airy. We had a little rain and it was windy/cool off and on while we were there in April, so we didn't get to use the roof deck much, but did go up a few times to check out the great views. Wifi is strong throughout. Juliette, the host, is absolutely lovely and met us at the beginning and end of our stay. She even bought me some pastries for my birthday! Arrival was easy - you can get a porter to help with bags from the car/taxi park if needed, but it is only a 5 min walk into the Medina.

There is a lot of space within the property. Dar ferrane is conveniently located in the Medina next to Mandala Society but maintains its tranquility. The owner Mr. Fabio was very gracious to grant access to the second room to my friend so that he could stay comfortably. Thank you very much for your kind gesture.
