Great atmosphere. Bar, restaurant, space to relax but also perfect for socialising also. Beds are good; curtains, charging socket, light, shelf. All the things that every good hostel should have. Showers are great!

Riad Alaka was like an oasis of calm, even the door bell makes a cricket sound so it doesn't disturb anybody! All of the staff were polite and incredibly helpful, the location is great, the food is lovely, the rooms were beautiful and there is a calming aroma to the property. I would definitely recommend the day trip to the mountains, it was so much more than we expected.

The accommodations and the staff could not have been more wonderful! Jamal welcomed us with mint tea and a friendly hello. He arranged a tour for our daughters to Merzouga and even responded to our inquiries after we left RD to stay at another location. They arranged transport to and from the airport— again even after we changed our lodging location. We could not have been more impressed with RD staff and facilities.
