Norbert and Salah were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The property is very charming and historic. Great outdoor areas on the property including outdoor terraces. Delicious daily French-style breakfasts with homemade cheeses and jams.

My first visit to Morocco took me to Tangier, where I traveled solo as an experienced traveler. I started with a two-night stay at Chez Aissam, and my experience in Tangier exceeded all expectations. The hospitality was incredible, and as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable. I made sure to blend in and respect the culture, which was warmly reciprocated by the locals. Aissam and his wife were wonderful hosts, always there to offer helpful advice and share their genuine kindness. Meeting them truly added value to my stay—they made it memorable. The accommodation includes a shared bathroom, but if that seems like a drawback, I encourage you to think again. The bathroom is shared among only a few guests, was always available, and impeccably clean. The room itself was spacious and inviting, featuring a large bed and a cozy sitting area. There was ample space for my belongings, and a window for some fresh air. The room had a tasteful, comfortable design without any humidity issues. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the breakfast was rich and satisfying. I loved the tranquility of the accommodation—it made for restful sleep. The location was simply perfect—central yet in a charming neighborhood. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Chez Aissam and look forward to returning again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lalla Soulika, a charming boutique hotel in the old town. The hotel features 8 spacious rooms, a nice garden, a beautiful rooftop overlooking the city, and a cozy lobby, all showing authentic Moroccan charm. Our room was filled with natural light and decorated in traditional Moroccan style. It included a small entrance, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a large, lovely living room with a balcony. The breakfast was delightful, with the option to choose where to enjoy it. The staff were exceptionally amazing. Special thanks to Madam Hasna, who went above and beyond to assist us with transportation, reservations, and recommendations. She was caring, regularly checked on us, and made us feel at home. Highly recommended for an authentic and cozy experience in the heart of the old town.

Nice and very spacious appartment close ( walking distance) to the old city, with a beautifull & very big terrace, in a lolcation witha lot of restaurants and breakfast places. Helpfull printed guide made by French owner. Tanger is a very big and bussy city but the location of the appartement was a restful.

This apartment was incredible! We stayed there for 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. It was bright and airy during the day, with a cute terrace where we ate breakfast and hung laundry to dry in the sun. It was spotlessly clean, and everything seemed new. There is a spacious living room with a nice big couch and TV, a nicely equipped kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. The room with the double bed is in the back of the apartment so there was no street noise at night. The bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable! And the bathroom was clean with a nice hot shower and impressive water pressure. The location was great, it’s in a residential part of the Marshan neighborhood of Tangier and is walking distance to the medina, on your way you pass the lovely Mendoubia garden. There was a grocery store and fruit shops and bakeries right around the corner. We had a little trouble finding the apartment at first but the host came to meet us and was incredibly friendly and welcoming! He said his family still lives on another floor of the building, so it’s clear they take really good care of it and keep the building safe and secure. I’m so glad we found this place in Tangier and would go back in a heartbeat!
