Everything was excellent — the design, the staff, the comfort, and the coziness of the place made it feel like home. I enjoyed it so much that I spent more time in the hotel than touring Tangier. Great building (very spacious, clean, and plenty of bathrooms w/ showers) and the super friendly staff & management can't be beat! Full kitchen for guests to use, which I personally hold as a very high priority. Not To forget to mention that the breakfast is undeniably one of the finest hostel breakfasts I've had in the last ten years, hands down (about 10-12 minutes) but after that huge breakfast (eggs, cold cereals, 4 or 5 different types of bread, cakes, jams/cheese spreads/honey/granola/fresh fruit... and plenty of coffee & tea available ALL DAY LONG)! It's a short hike to the Medina...but it's a good excuse to walk off some of those breakfast calories!!!

Tangier was the first stop in our Moroccan adventure, and Lalla Soulika set an exceptionally high bar for all other hotels to follow. Cab's find it hard to reach the location of the hotel itself, but there is a golf cart that meets you in a convenient location to let you arrive in comfort. The property is located close to the medina, but still far enough for it to be quiet. The room size was huge, with a kitchenette, dressing room, living room and very large bedroom. The bathroom was the only one in our entire stay that had a shataf (huge plus!). Apart from the room, the property had several bonus rooms with games, a piano and a private courtyard. Breakfast was prepared fresh for us during our stay and really great. Customer service went above and beyond - we were given a cell phone to call the hotel in case of any issues/questions whether at the property or exploring. As well, the concierge made sure to send us suggestions on where to eat, what to explore, and best places to shop. I would high recommend Lalla Soulika to anyone who wishes to stay in the old medina. It surpassed all our expectations.

The space is beautifully designed, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect,close to the city’s main attractions yet quiet enough to relax. Nice and very spacious appartment close ( walking distance) to the old city, with a beautifull & very big terrace, in a lolcation witha lot of restaurants and breakfast places. Helpfull printed guide made by French owner. Tanger is a very big and bussy city but the location of the appartement was a restful.

This apartment was incredible! We stayed there for 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. It was bright and airy during the day, with a cute terrace where we ate breakfast and hung laundry to dry in the sun. It was spotlessly clean, and everything seemed new. There is a spacious living room with a nice big couch and TV, a nicely equipped kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. The room with the double bed is in the back of the apartment so there was no street noise at night. The bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable! And the bathroom was clean with a nice hot shower and impressive water pressure. The location was great, it’s in a residential part of the Marshan neighborhood of Tangier and is walking distance to the medina, on your way you pass the lovely Mendoubia garden. There was a grocery store and fruit shops and bakeries right around the corner. We had a little trouble finding the apartment at first but the host came to meet us and was incredibly friendly and welcoming! He said his family still lives on another floor of the building, so it’s clear they take really good care of it and keep the building safe and secure. I’m so glad we found this place in Tangier and would go back in a heartbeat!
