This was a return visit after almost 10 years. It was as good as the first time. We were upgraded to a slightly larger room that was ready at checkin (and we really needed to sleep) so it was very large but Dutch standards and perfect since it was essentially 4 beds made into 2 kings. We live how quiet the hotel is which becomes clear once you exit. It’s a fantastic location if you like museums and art. We also get a kick out of the Bols Museum just up the street. Public transportation is a short walk either directly across the street or on the corner. Breakfast is hearty and everything is still available even later in the opening hours. I also liked that not everyone (actually hardly anyone) is an American tourist. The staff speak perfect English and are very helpful.

We found the Museumzicht hotel to be a wonderful choice for Amsterdam. It is located imediately next to Rijksmuseum, it offeres wonderful views from the window of the dining area and from the rooms and it is located in a beautiful, stylish and cozy old building. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. We will surely chose to stay here again on other trips.
