The room was excellent, lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position only 5 minutes walk to the Marina and close to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend.

In a prime location in the center of Auckland, Marsden Viaduct Hotel is within 1.4 miles of Masefield Beach and 1.5 miles of Hamilton Beach Reserve. Amazing stay and if you can get a room here, take it! Wonderful welcome and wonderfully accommodating with my luggage. Loved it.

Conveniently located in the center of Auckland, Ohtel Auckland provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness center. When I arrived there was a sign at the reception desk indicating personnel was helping another guest and would be back in 5 minutes which was no problem for me however a man sitting at a table nearby ( think is name was Adam ) noticed I was waiting and walked over, welcomed me and apologized for my having to wait ( which again was no problem!) and offered me a free cocktail as a way of letting me know they were glad to have me staying with them!! A second later the receptionist, Luke, arrived and efficiently and cheerfully checked me in and when I asked about how best to contact my airline for a question regarding booking, he actually looked up their website and dialed the number so that I could speak with them directly using the NZ phone # rather than from my US cell phone! Thus began my introduction to the fantastic, extraordinary hospitality of this hotel!!! The location is perfect- right next to the Viaduct Harbor and a 10 minute walking distance to all the downtown districts and the ferry; the room's layout is wonderful - an extremely comfortable bed and living room sitting area with doors that open to a balcony make up the main area which is adjacent to a nicely styled desk workspace and spacious bathroom - loved it!! Additionally they have a well stocked mini bar, IPad for touch support options - even a pillow menu so that you can order what makes you most comfortable!! For the environmentally conscience, garbage options include compost, landfill and recycling. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at - highly recommend!

Attractively set in the center of Auckland, Travelodge Hotel Auckland Wynyard Quarter features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private paid parking. The customer service was professional and very helpful. The newer like facilities were very clean and comfortable.I loved the location. It is close to a grocery store, restaurants, the harbor for a very pleasant walk (15 mins) and the ferry to the islands.
