Parkview on Hagley overlooks Hagley Park in the centre of Christchurch. This 4-star hotel offers spacious suite-style accommodation, free internet and free parking within walking distance of the CBD. The rooms were well appointed with all the basic and modern amenities. Our room faced the park and the view in the morning from our was amazing. The price for the beautiful room just fitted our pocket. We paid $50 for breakfast at the counter which initially we thought was a lot but the buffet breakfast on the 3rd floor was extensive and the staff serving was lovely but he couldn’t understand english properly.

New and comfortable. The staff were wonderful, especialy the friendly Balinese man at the reception who was exceptional. He was very helpful in finding a place to store our bike cases while we visited friends in another city for 2 weeks. Stayed twice this trip and I would definitely return.

Only 200 metres walk to the cinema, restaurants, bars and shops at Westfield Riccarton. All good,just a little old,but ok for us.

FYFFE on Riccarton Motor Lodge is 500 metres from Canterbury University and a 10-minute drive from Christchurch Airport. It was a very clean and quiet room in a great location. Exceptional host and friendly staff. As we have a young adult going to UC we will try to stay here every time we come to Christchurch in the next few years :)

The 306 Motel Apartments offers modern accommodation with double-glazed windows, heating and electric blankets. There is also an outdoor area with picnic tables. Lovely staff and really close to the airport. Spa bath was comfortable.
