The staff were fantastic!! the room was super clean and spacious. Laundry facilities were a bonus. The location was great. You can walk to restaurants, shops, bike rentals, downtown, and seaside. just a great experience

The location was perfect, loved the unique character and style inside. Lovely friendly host. Value for money. Enjoyed freshly brewed coffee in the mornings and looking out to the ocean from the sunroom/indoor balcony. Thank you for having us , will be keen to stay again in future

From the fine bed and bath linens to the towel warmer to the home made curated daily tea cakes and banquet style breakfasts. You will want for nothing whilst being transferred back to a more genteel time of relaxing conversation with your hosts and other guests and relish in the time honored and valued traditions of fine living of a bygone era. The nightly evening turn down service w/chocolates accompanied by the silver tray of port wine was priceless. And all this a mere stones throw from the most exquisite historically preserved Deco town I can recall peppered w/wonderful restaurant choices. A most memorable visit!

Well first off the absolute best thing is the location. It is literally on the waterfront across from the beach and walking distance from a bunch of shops and restaurants. The room was large for the price and had a whole sit down tub and not just a shower, which I think was the only one I seen during my whole 10 days. There's an indoor heated swimming pool that unfortunately I didn't have the time to try. There is a relatively cheap breakfast buffet (about $15 USD). Tons of on site parking that they didn't charge for and I didn't have to bother with putting something on my dash, which was great after days of hiking and my legs/ankles being beat. It was cold in NZ when I went but the temperature control in the room worked like a charm.

Sea views from all rooms are on offer at Edgewater Motor Lodge, located just 5 minutes’ walk from Napier city center. Guests have access to an outdoor pool.

Beautiful room layout with the spa, and it was right across from the beach so the location couldn't be better. I will definitely stay there again if/when I go back to Napier!
