The room was very clean with nice little touches like a bottle of milk in the fridge and biscuits for tea. The location was great and close to a lot of amenities, including a short drive to the beach. We loved our stay here.

Our stay here was exceptional. The space was perfectly sized and the bathroom/laundry facilities were great. Above all our hosts were so communicative and flexible with everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One incident was that I dirty my shoes at a muddy beach and the staff kindly let me use a large cleaning sink to clean my shoes. Thank you and much appreciated. The location was very good with beautiful scenery - high and low tides right before your eyes. The room was vintage style, cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our family of 7 had dinner in the hotel restaurant - excellent! Highly recommend this hotel to visitors coming to the Nelson area.

We loved our stay here. We used it as a base to hike Abel Tasman. We forgot out jackets here and the staff had it curriered to our next place and it arrived there when we got there. Loved the washer and dryer in the suite small kitchen and perfect location. Easy walk to town centre.
