Stay was luxurious and allowed us to prepare meals rather than eat in restaurants. The building and unit have good security.
Short walk to nice beach “Balneario El Escambrón.” (Walk to right as you exit the building, then turn left on C. San Agustín.)
Excellent beer and wine at Ambrosia Fine Wines https://ambrosiafinefoods.net/ a block to the right as you head out the main entrance, at intersection of C. Martín Fernández. (It recently opened so it’s not on Google Maps.)
It was an easy cheap Uber to the cruise port.

Very quiet, clean & comfortable. Thoughtful touches like insect repellent & sunburn soother gel in fridge.
Good air conditioning. Well-equipped kitchen with microwave.
Pretty outside deck space with two chairs and plants. Shaded by pergola. An oasis of calm.

The location is perfect in the main street of Old San Juan you can reach everything you need just walking and it's ten minutes by Uber to get to Placita Santurce. The room was nice comfortable clean. The staff is really professional and gentle they let me leave my suitcase for another day as I needed to go to Culebra and didn't want to carry my big suitcase.
