Very excellent hotel brother, Hadi was an excellent employee, very helpful when needed جزاك الله خيرا for everything to the hotel

STAFF: The staff at the hotel was very friendly, from front desk to house keeping and the restaurant staff, simply amazing! When we asked for house keeping to clean the room they were there promptly. 2.HOTEL: the Hotel looked very good (much better than the other Swissotel, which I accidentally walked into on my way to this one) and had direct access to the mall with convenient stores for abayas / souvenirs / books etc. and restaurant / coffeeshop options. The hotel has it's own coffeeshop in the ground level. The location is really central, so it is only 4 walking minutes till you reach the mosque. They have guards in front of the door cause it can get very hectic before and after prayer times, they even roll out carpets directly at the hotel so one could pray there. Breakfast was good! 3. TRANSPORT: Getting pick-up / drop-off with Taxis or Uber is a little complicated and if you arrive for the first time it could easily happen that your Uber driver drops you else where with further walking distance, since the hotel is in the inner ring of Mekka where they can't enter without being granted access, easy solution for this: tell the front desk the numberplate 15 to 20 mins in advance, they sort it out for you. If you exit the hotel to the right and walk for 2 mins you are outside of the inner ring and can smoothly order your Ubers there. It took us 15-20 mins to get to the train station from the hotel. 3. ROOM: The room had everything we needed, lots of space in the wardrobes, fridge / safe etc., a great view over the city on the 32th floor, comfortable beds! The room has loudspeakers if you want to hear the adhan and prayer even in your room you just switch them on. The bathroom offered everything one could need. Size of the room was perfect for my sister and me. It was really quiet we hardly heard anything on this floor. WE WILL RETURN FOR SURE!

Al Safwah Hotel features a prime location against the King Abdul Aziz Gate and directly overlooking the Masjid Al Haram. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Going to the Masjid Haram was very easy. In addition to that, waking up in the morning to Fajr adhan from the Masjid made it so much better.
