Situated in Bangkok Old Town, Chillax Heritage features unique accommodations inspired by the story of the ancient epic, Ramayana. Absolutely loved this hotel. The loveliest staff ever (the nicest we met in Thai), excellent location near KhaoSan (5 min walk) and main touristic areas (20 min walk to Grand Palace, 5 min walk to the pier), brand new hotel, great amenities. Breakfast was the best we had in Thailand, still thinking about those fried glass noodles (really appreciated that they had delicious thai dishes, not just the old boring continental; also early starting hour at 6 AM). Coffee is great also. Wifi was also best in Thai. And the best of the best was the infinity pool - perfect to relax between sightseeing with a view of Bangkok skyline and a great cocktails (but closes at 8 PM, it would have been better to have access until midnight or at least 10 PM). Don't bother paying more for room with a view, the view is to a road, we had a room without view and it was just fine, as long as you don't mind keeping the blinds shut all time (there's another building with windows very close to yours). But the quality of the rooms is the same. Also loved the extra huge Jacuzzi and the glass wall between bathroom and room - very romantic (you do have blinds for privacy). Great hotel for couples and young people, great value for money, would definitely stay again.

Villa De Khaosan Hotel is situated in Bangkok, 1.5 km from Khao San Road. I wanted one thing for our last four days in Bangkok: a nice room and a rooftop pool. My partner wanted Khaosan Road and to save money as often as possible. We got it all! It is just next to Khaosan Road, but far enough away to not get disturbed by the noise of all the people and music. I got my perfect bed and my perfect rooftop. And he agreed that is was all the money worth. We found it 4 days old on booking.com on the day we arrived, and therefore we got a good price. Around 10.000 bht for a double deluxe room with a view for three nights, and we stayed buy the pool the hole day after we checked out. Even though the pool is only on6th floor, there is no tall buildings around, so you still have a great view! You’re close to a lot of temples, Khaosan Road as told and the river (where you btw should go to what they call “the floating market”, cause they want loss of money, the trips there takes long and is boring as f***, but mostly because there is no floating market. There’s a tiny market, but it’s on land.) It’s easy to grab a tuk tuk or a cap to go anywhere you wanna. And when you’re going to the airport then ask the staff to find you a cap with meter. E-A-S-Y ! And the staff is no more than you could ask for. They are smiling, open minded, interested and just enormously helpful!! I have absolutely no bad things to say about our stay! ☺️

Situated in Bangkok, within less than 1 km of Temple of the Emerald Buddha and a 15-minute walk of Grand Palace, Siri Heritage Bangkok Hotel offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Everything was clean and very beautiful. Very pretty room, staff helpful and nice- by mistake I made a booking for the same day while we were still in different city and there was no problem to rebook it for the day after with same price and conditions. We enjoyed swimming pool after hot day spent in the city. Prices for drinks in the mini bar same as in the local supermarket - which surprised us a lot in a positive way. All perfect!

In March 2018 I had a most enjoyable stay at the Bangkok Publishing Residence. The former site of a family owned publishing house, a daughter in the family has turned this property into a boutique hotel gem. From the relaxing lobby with its lovingly displayed typewriters, printing presses and other items of the printer's trade, to the beautiful wood floors and Jim Thompson pillows in each individualized guest room, there is a graceful attention to detail that one simply cannot find in a corporate hotel. The staff is attentive and quick to help with taxis and bookings. I even had the privilege of passing a delightful hour in conversation with the owner over tropical fruit drinks and fresh Chinese donuts.

The boutique hotel, the wonderful location along the river in front at Wat Arun Temple, the food served at the terrace restaurant and , over all, the people that work at the Riva Arun Hotel.
