It was such a lovely space, very well decorated and very homely. Dean was also an exceptional host - really went out of his way to explain things to me and was so responsive if I had any questions. Honestly that food map was the best!

The room was very comfortable. The bed was large and comfy. They had a nice bathroom with shower. It had a coffee maker, AC, and TV. I was really great. Greatly recommend it.

Location is 👌 not too far from train station & closed to food streets; Bright & comfortable 8th floor, free (non alcohol) bar & snacks; Good variety of breakfast especially on weekends; Very friendly staff - a young man in bar & a young lady in breakfast room stood out with genuine smiles (too bad I didn’t get her name only noticed her day off was Tuesday, both her posture & attitude were very pleasant); DIY laundry (machines a bit old but clean & efficient) with free detergent

NEAT Hostel was absolutely incredible in a central location, easily walkable distance from cute restaurants and bars. It was IMPECCABLY clean and the owner was so accommodating and sweet. I will most definitely stay here on my next trip to Tainan. I cannot rave more about this place, highly recommended.
