Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us being here for the Iditarod. We could walk to everything and when we did go further afield the bus was easy. I would definitely stay here again. Also, the adjoining coffee shop is nice.

We enjoyed our stay in The Pioneer. It has a comfortable bed, full kitchen and was very quiet. Didn’t need a car - We walked over to New Sagaya City Market and Kaladi Coffee. We received a discount for ice skate rentals at Alaska Outdoor Gear Rental and they delivered for free. We walked over to Westchester Lagoon and had fun skating. Even saw the aurora from the living room. We will be back.
