Excellent place to stay. Right across Seawall Blvd., even a fitness room with actual working equipment. Very clean, excellent comfort. Rooms superclean with balcony (I could see the gulf and sunset). More than I would ever have expected at these low prices. Walmart and eateries in walking distance.

This Galveston hotel is 15 miles from the Historic Strand Entertainment District and 20 minutes’ drive from Pelican Island. It features a heated outdoor pool and spacious suites with free WiFi. A fabulous location right on the beach. The two bedroom suite was great. It was nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed. We loved having the kitchen, so we didn't have to eat out for every meal and the in suite laundry was an added bonus. The location is slightly outside of Galveston, which we really liked as it was a little quieter than in town, but still only a short drive away. The balcony was great, although could have used some nicer furniture. There was nothing like listening to the waves....sigh! The beach was nice and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
