Newly renovated, they paid attention to all the small details, and did things right. The whole place has a historic, sophisticated feel. The restaurant was fantastic, with great service, and great food for reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful desk staff and cleaning staff. We only made it to the roof once, but it looked awesome, even though it was too cold to hang out (we visited mid-March), and the pool was open. The rooms are spacious, and washrooms very clean. Every room has a few books to read, which was a nice touch. Located close to the City Museum (right next door), the Central Library, a bunch of great restaurants. Walking distance to Union Station, and if you don’t mind a little longer walk, the Arch and Ballpark districts. An easy Uber ride to Forest Park. Even though it’s located downtown in a large city, it never felt sketchy even walking with kids at night. The Last Hotel staff and management are doing an outstanding job of running a hotel.

I love how close it was to the Dome. We stayed there for the Royal Rumble. I loved the breakfast and dinner that was offered every day. We don’t drink, but they also give out 3 free drinks a night. Greg, the man who checked us in was very polite and energetic! We loved him!
