Renato and his wife run a beautiful guesthouse that is perfectly located and beautifully decorated. The rooms in the old town building have been renovated so are air conditioned with modern bathrooms. Breakfast served in the garden was substantial with a variety of fruit, eggs and coffee. Renato couldn't have been more helpful with regards to parking, giving us suggestions as to how to plan our time in Shkoder and his suggestion for restaurant Fisi was possibly the best meal we had in Albania.

The place is modern and well designed with all the amenities needed. The location is perfect in the center of the city with balcony overlooking the pedonale road. This was an “experience” location. The hosts are amazing and Nebije is very anxious to make your stay lovely. She runs her own business with looms to make rugs and other products as well as running the B&B. It was amazing to see her work in her home with her employees and watch the three of them make the rugs. We videoed them and what a treasure to see the process. She’s very proud of the tradition and art form and with good reason!!! The rooms are nice and very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. The only challenge is the drive and the steepness with a lot of stairs. Don’t book if you can’t climb stairs. Breakfast was all homemade and fresh and brought right on time.
