Lovely place - very clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice shower. Loved the access to use common room spaces too. And the proximity to the river was so nice too. The freshly cooked to order hot breakfast was so yummy!! Staff are extremely accommodating and hospitable. A true gem!!

I’ve been coming here for 40 years and was hoping that it hadn’t lost any of its timeless character and it hasn’t after the renovation in recent years. Great work. I liked the multiple dining areas, fire place, comfy bed, games area outside and the chicken Parma.

We loved the atmosphere, the kitchen was very comfortable. The cottage had every convenience we needed (games, teapot, floss picks, extra towels, great pots and pans to cook with!). The owner was lovely to deal with, gardens beautiful. Highly recommended.

The cottage was charming and perfect for our group. The beds were extremely comfy, the fireplace was cosy, and the view of the town from the cottage was incredible!

Beautifully landscaped property. Plenty of parking. I was upgraded to a King room for free upon check in. They let me check out 20 minutes late so I could repack my bags and let me hang out in the common area and use the WiFi after checkout. There was a free breakfast but I didn't realise this until I already ate my own food. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the room along with several appliances.

Close to shops and attractions. Old world style, really lovely atmosphere. Towels were fluffy and good quality. Bed linen was lovely and clean.
