This hotel feels like a place out of a Harry Potter movie. It's located in a chateau-like historical building. The building is so impressive that tourists are taking photos in front of it all the time. The corridors, lobbies and rooms are full of antique items like books, magnifying glasses, crystal balls, leather journals, old letters, whiskeys and all kinds of liquors. I was surprised to find such historic items all over the hotel, wondering how they kept them secure. The barroom feels like a magical place where you wouldn't mind spending your evenings. I almost don't want to write this review for fear of too many tourists visiting this hotel and that I wouldn't find a room next time.

The hotel is located in Gent, only 1640 feet from the historical city center.

Everything!! from the moment you walk in the door. the house is perfect. it is in a great location with lots to see and do. house was clean and as described, actually even better. Beds were very comfortable and enjoyed hanging out in the living room.
