The host provided home cooked breakfast and dinner. He arranged for me to be picked up from the airport and even tracked my flight for delays. He drove me to the Great Wall. It was an excellent stay and made my experience of the Great Wall much better!

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. She called us when we got lost, found us, picked us up, and dropped us off at the Mutianyu Great Wall entrance. The entrance to the Great Wall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and very easy to get to. If you get up early you can beat the crowds from Beijing who arrive around 9:00 am. We had the Great Wall almost to ourselves! Breakfast was Chinese style and excellent. They also make great dinner upon request. The host was quick to respond to any of the requests we had. Rooms have recently been constructed and are clean and spacious.

We were so impressed by how gracious and helpful all the staff were. They treated us like family! We are American and speak very little Mandarin. But the staff responded immediately to messages in English, arranged a car from the train station, took us to and from the Great Wall, and even let us stay later in our room so we could freshen up before we left for Beijing. We will be back!

Everything. From accommodation to cleanliness to the staff's behavior to the food and etc etc. They cared for us like their own family members. I have been in China for more than six months and this is the best behavior I got from the Chinese people. Even the townspeople's behavior was so good. The room was clean, had a really nice smell all the time. The view of the hotel was really scenic. It was surrounded by the mountain. The Huang hua Cheng great wall was near the hotel, by around 1 mile. And the Mutian Yu great wall was around 25 km afar. Transportation can be arranged through the hotel. I loved their food too. Overall, all I can say is, staying in this guesthouse is 200% worth it. If there was a way to increase my rating, I would have rated it to 11+ out 10 😅❤️
