The owners/staff are amazing. They went out of their way to ensure everything was easy from the beginning to the end. The apartment was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Everything seemed new and very updated. They use tankless hot water. Once you figure out how to use it correctly (hot is turn the lever to the left and pull the lever slightly toward you - hot is left and slightly away from the wall or out so to say) the hot water is great! I would stay here again for sure!

It is a small and simple cabin but has everything we needed for our stay: comfortable beds, hot water and it was clean. Location is not far from the center of Guatavita. The yard is beautiful and safe for kids. But. The absolutely best "thing" are the owners, David and Diana, most probably the nicest couple we've met on our travel in Colombia. They will do everything to make you feel at home.

The views! It’s an amazing place to embrace nature! the trees, lake and farmlife surrounding the campsite was wonderful! We LOVED the staff! Carlos and Mrs. Benita were incredibly accommodating and responsive to every and anything we could think of! They are a great team and we’re very patient and extremely helpful as our Spanish is marginal and we were affected (headaches) by the thin mountain air the first night. They made us a firepit, kept the minibar/fridge stocked, helped with our luggage and were always present with suggestions for dinner and places to visit in town & activities around the area (paragliding, ATVs, horseback riding). At one point there was a storm and a power outtage (DARK DARK outside), they appeared with flashlights and helped with our checkout IN the dark and assisted with our luggage at 5am through the dark wet COLD to make sure we got to our car safely. They took such good care of us and made our trip wonderful! We will be back!

The place is well located, nearby Guatavita, but far enough to give you that countryside vibe. The dome structure is beautifully designed, and it offers a lot amenities inside. The table outside the dome and rest area was great for breakfast and for looking at the stars at night. The staff was also super nice and friendly. They made our stay perfect. We enjoyed every minute of it!
