The owners are amazing and really do they can to make you feel at home. This is a « locals » barrio so there are only a few little tiendas and really local restaurants. However within a short drive or very long walk there are a lot of activities and the beach. Very very close to the airport so if you have a flight out there next day it’s wonderful. Again wonderful hosts.

The hostess, Rosario, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen met our needs perfectly. There was a convenience store across the street. The best part of the stay was Rosario's friendliness, along with Ms. Martha (? - I think that was her name?). They gave us a lot of care and excellent recommendations on things to see, places to eat, transportation, etc. They are great ambassadors for Cartagena!

    Pool was great, excellent service from the pool personnel (cleanliness, towel service, beverages etc.). Breakfast was great, too many options and good to have fresh prepared omeletes as well. Family Room size was excellent, easily accomodates 2 adults and 4 kids. Our room was not a renovated one, so the bathroom was not so great, but the room furnitures and amenities were very good.

    From start to finish the stay was immaculate, the service was great upon arrival, they really took the time to make myself, husband and baby welcome. The staff was attentive to all our needs, the ambience and atmosphere was family friendly but also had a sense of maturity and elegance which allowed for us to have adult time too.

    For a family with small kids, this is a very good hotel in Cartagena. It offers playground and childrens pool, also for bigger kids there is quite a big water slide. The location right at the beachfront is amazing, also it is not far from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel consists of two buildings, where "Torre del mar" offers also a gym, spa, etc.
