Sunset Shack was in a great location, close to the beach, short walk to the shops and more restaurants. The room was spacious, comfy beds and amazing shower. The hotel/bungalows are quiet and the Al Chile restaurant joined to the hotel is great. We were able to order and eat by the pool.

wow, stay here! it’s beautiful and clean, the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond. they offer some 5 star service perks while still keeping the vibe laid back and relaxed. the pool is big enough that you can relax quietly on a sun lounger ever when it’s busy. the restaurant is good and the rooms are soundproof. as a solo female I felt very safe and comfortable. Will absolutely be staying here again, can’t say enough good things.

Beautiful property! The hosts are so lovely. The terrace has a stunning ocean view and the pool is refreshing and clean. It is a very tranquil place and also can be social, with lots of board games in the main veranda, and a communal breakfast with other guests and the owners each morning.

Gorgeous new house. Large 4 bedrooms with 3 of them ensuite. Roomy common area. Well appointed kitchen. Washer and dryer a big plus. The staff very responsive and addressed requests within minutes. This house is a find.

I stayed with my 14 year old daughter and my mom at the Bodhi tree for a week. We all had a fantastic time! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the fans and air conditioning were great in the rooms. We did yoga, went surfing, and relaxed by the pool. All the food we had was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Location is excellent. Very short walk to the beach and surf. Clean room. It had everything you need. Comfortable beds, strong AC, kitchen with everything you need to cook. Property felt safe and secured. Pool was also nice for a dip to cool off with outside shower. And to top it all off, Henri is a wonderfully gracious kind accommodating host. And also extremely funny! If you want awesome vibes and be close to beach with all the amenities definitely stay here.

Very special place. Excellent breakfast. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and extra mile helpful. Helped me arrange local activities including tennis and hiking and were outsanding when I had car trouble. Beautiful ambiance. Easy walk to beach and beautiful rooms and communal spaces. True Pura Vida place.
