📍😄 By far the best place you can pick for a real caboverdian experience. You will have to walk about 45-1h to reach this beautiful place. Note that it is in the middle of nowhere. Excellent location in the heart of a beautiful valley surrounded by the most dramatic mountain landscape. Facilities were modest but get the job done. The rooftop dining provided an excellent start and finish to my day with incredible food.

It is a 3-storey building run by a very welcoming family. The breakfast is the best we have tasted in the whole island, with a lot of quantity and the quality was excellent (they made homemade sponge cake!!). The host family are very nice, friendly and welcoming. They are learning many languages, and try to speak to you in your own language. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and brand new (in fact, they are working on the upper floor to make more rooms). It is without a doubt, our most recommended stay in Cape Verde!!!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Paul, Pousada do Ceu is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

The hosts and staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and welcoming! the room was clean and comfortable. Do not take note to previous reviews about no hot water! The shower was hot!! The breakfast was served at our table and there was plenty of variety. We will be back!

The best part about Casa Cavoquinho is the location! Waking up to a view of the Paúl Valley is indescribable and so beautiful to experience. It’s like something out of a film. A true gem. You’re also close to some great hikes. The rooms are a bit more simple, but the property is clean and well-maintained. Great service and communication from the staff all around. The breakfast and dinner they serve is also delicious. I would come back here and recommend this place to friends.
