The owner and staff have done a magnificent job of restoring this 100 year old building to a wonderful condition. Much of the restoration has been completed, and I was impressed by how he/they continue improving even the smaller details. The service was excellent, the building, immaculate, and I especially enjoyed watching the clouds drift up among the surrounding hills in the early mornings.

We liked the rooms. The kings room was excellent for people with disabilities. We liked the hotel cleanliness and the big party room. We attended a 15th birthday 🎂 party and had a great time.

Excellent experience. I am a retired solo traveler from Canada. Stayed 2 weeks plus and found it great. The price is excellent and more than competitively priced. Accommodations are clean, quiet, safe, and convenient, with restaurants, stores, and the historic center nearby. The metro (Tranvia) to and from the airport is two short, smooth blocks away. I doubt there are better more economical rooms available. Enjoy! PS. breakfast included. The name is Hotel Balcon del Arte and the entrance is a hole in the wall. Reception is about 7m back of the street through 2 security doors with buzzers.

Location was great. It had a parking space and was in a secure location. It was roomy with 2 baths and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen was okay, it would have been nice to have had a few more cooking utensils and cleaning supplies, but we were able to prepare breakfasts before heading out on our adventures. It was okay.
