Had a lovely time and would highly recommend! Very comfortable beds and charming location. The proprietor is very kind and attentive, and I believe he is also the chef. The food was delicious and on par with any highly rated restaurant. It feels like coming to visit your grandmother, so comfortable and the food was really good.

It is like staying at a 16th century comfy Spanish hostel, with electricity, running hot water, air conditioning and wifi. The breakfast is all home made (squeezed orange juice, preserves, toasted bread). The staff/owners are very nice and prompte.

The hotel Mirador has a wonderful location on a hill overlooking the t o r m e s River, the Romanesque bridge, the quaint town of el barco de Avila, and the great Castle. The staff kindly let us enter our room early. They also upgraded us to a third floor Room with a View. The room was very spacious and good. The breakfast was very good. We only had to walk 100 yards to get to the old bridge which crosses the river to the Old Town. It was a wonderfully restful place.
