The owner, our host was so friendly and welcoming and speaks very good English. It’s a lovely old renovated house with beautiful views. Our room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished. The common area with kitchen was great to have as were the very generous provisions provided for coffee, tea, snacks and breakfast, which you prepare your self. We enjoyed a drink at the little bar a couple of doors down and unfortunately were too late for lunch at the restaurant across the road. The food looked very good and it was busy but the kitchen closed at 4:30 although the sign said open til 6, I guess just for drinks.

Set in pretty gardens, Hotel Puente de Alconétar is a 15th century building with an impressive stone exterior. Free WiFi is available throughout.

The apartment is located on a quiet street in the old city. It was perfectly set up, comfy bed. The hosts were wonderful with recommendations and responsive whenever we needed something. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff here are all wonderful. They work very long hours but are always friendly and professional. Jose who works incredibly long hours every day in the cafeteria always manages a smile even when he’s waiting on dozens of people each with their own special requests. He serves morning coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night cocktails. Amazing!!

The location was great. It is on the edge of old town, so it is easy to drive to with good parking. It is convenient to walk to the old town area. And you can walk back for a rest if you want too. The breakfast was very good.
