Excellent location just outside the Gorges du Verdun. Quiet small town. The setting is rustic and quiet. Ample parking if you are driving. The owner Marc has a restaurant in the same building, and he's an outstanding cook. Excellent menu and Marc went out of his way to serve us.

The house is spacious and is nicely decorated. The owner Pascale is kind and friendly. She lives in a house nearby. We were planning to stay for 2 nights but due to unfortunate circumstances had to stay for just one night. There's a large yard in front of the house and of course there's free parking. The kitchen has almost everything but I think the cork screw was missing which is unusual when you are in France, lol. The neighborhood is a little paradise.

Huge, spotlessly clean apartment. Plenty of room for everyone and all the amenities you could need. Nice and quiet and the noise of the bells from the goats being herded down the hillside were a lovely wake up call in the morning!! 😊

The breakfast was terrific with a lot of variety and quality food. Though the dining room where I had dinner was lovely. it was pleasant having breakfast outside. And this was the only place I stayed at during a two-week trip that didn't serve coffee in one of those do-it-yourself machines. It was the old-fashioned way--with the coffee and hot milk served separately.

What an amazing place to stay, and what gracious hosts were Frederic and Sabine! Pictures of the property are gorgeous, but they do not do it justice. It is breathtaking. There are acres and acres for long walks along with the beautiful guest house and tower. We stayed in the tower, and it was amazing. We had two separate bedrooms, and a lounge area where we could sit on a lovely leather couch or in a leather club chair and watch television or just relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower and the bath products were quite nice. The main house has two main rooms where guests can sit and relax. The walls of the house were built hundreds of years ago, but the furnishings and the restoration are modern, have a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings and art. There is so much to look at and so much to enjoy both inside and out. They have bikes at your disposal to ride around the property. They also have a piano and foosball in the shared space, as well as a lovely heated saltwater swimming pool. A traditional French breakfast was served on the patio, and croissants, jams and jellies, fresh squeezed orange juice, and fresh cherries from the property were amazing. The location is ideal for exploring many medieval villages, as well as Lake Saint Croix. The Côte d’Azur as well as the Verdun Gorge are easy day trips. And then there are the large lavender fields, which are all around the country roads nearby. What a peaceful, wonderful stay. We cannot wait to come back

The hosts were so nice and their homemade breakfast was wonderful. The location was very good - close to the lavender fields and the Gorges du Verdon, a UNESCO geoparc. The unit we were in was a “tiny house.” It was cute and well equipped with secure parking on the property. If traveling in the summer, make sure you check the weather/temp bc there is no ac but it was not needed at night, even during the heat wave that we were caught in.

Lovely location!!! Right next to gorgeous lake. Quiet property with so many stars. Staff was wonderful (did not speak much English but we still managed just fine) and breakfast was nice. Apartment is well furnished.
