Everything about my stay was excellent. THE STAFF WERE FANTASTIC AND THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. MY ROOM WAS WELL APPOINTED WITH A COMFORTABLE BED AND EXTREMELY CLEAN.I WOULD STYA HERE AGAIN WHEN IN THE AREA.

Lovely location, great for exploring the area and enjoying the walks. Quirky, furnishings and decor good. Warm and cosy. Lovely shower. We booked as a group and wanted the open plan space to chat and cook together, which was perfect. Bedding and towels clean and fresh.

Stayed for 2 nights and would definitely go back again, beautifully situated next to the river, clean, tidy, friendly staff and great value for money.

The Swan Taphouse is an 18th-century malt house on the banks of the River Severn, a 6-minute walk from the Iron Bridge. All rooms are individually decorated and many have river views.

A historical inn convenient to historical sites. Friendly staff. Comfortable room and ambiance. Excellent breakfast at the Malthouse next door (I see a lot of reviews complaining about that, but it's only a minute's walk. Some people will complain about anything). The restaurant's food was tasty and plentiful. The drinks were reasonably priced. They had live music in the pub both nights I was there
