Booking.com asked travelers...

How does Lowestoft go the extra mile to make your family feel at home?

Lowestoft has been vastly improved over recent years particularly the beach area and properties adjacent. Still not quite where it could be but much much better. The shopping centre isn't really of high standard, there could be more cafes etc with outdoor seating, a shame the odeon cinema was knocked down - no decent cinema for the bad weather. The library has gone downhill too. The unused dock areas could have a megabowl or swimming pool. Lowestoft could be such a great holiday destination with a bit more thought and investment - what a shame about the Sparrows Nest - that used to be a great attraction, much better than the marina.
