Excellent breakfast with good choices of continental and cooked. Cooked an extra breakfast item which we requested. Waitress was so friendly and helpful.

charming , cozy hotel with a nice updated room and in a great location . The lounge bar and dining room we’re comfortable & the food in the restaurant was delicious! we didn’t use the patio area due to cold and rain but it looked like a wonderful place to have a drink . they had nice amenities like tea nespresso biscuits water bottles for your room and a butler pantry for refills.

    I had to contact the feathers twice before our arrival, both times the receptionist was polite and sorted out my queries On arrival once again the staff were polite friendly and couldn’t be more helpful . We had a family dinner for over 16 people, they arranged a private room so we could be together rather than scattered around the pub/restaurant Food was good and the staff coped really well w

    Hotel room was nice, just very low ceilings. The family room bed was not so good. Very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep in. I slept in the main bed with my son and the other adult slept in the sofa bed. Not the best night sleep as the sofa bed was very thin.

    Liked every things about this place is was so welcoming and the staff where great Nothing was too much. It was so charming I could have spend all day in the room or the pub. We love it we will Definitely rebook when we visit the family again thank you so much for a great stay.

    We have stayed at The Feathers several times and are principally attracted by its location (close to family) and affordability (by the standards of the area). The accommodation is probably best described as simple but adequate, with notably comfortable beds and some nice touches such as the provision of small, stainless steel flasks with an invitation to get fresh milk from the bar. Much appreciated as we hate UHT milk in tea. Also appreciated are the invariable friendly and helpful staff, adequate parking and decent WiFi.
