Our room was very recently renovated, spotless clean and very well equipped. The house is located a very short drive away from the center of town and as there is parking in the garden, it was very easy for us to get around. We were welcomed by a small piece of cake, figs and some water - such a nice gesture. This was one of the best accommodation we stayed during out 2+ weeks stay on Lesvos, we really loved it here!

Lovely apartment building a few short blocks away from the town center. The family who runs the building treated us with kindness and often made coffee for me in the mornings along with giving me a slice of cake or biscuit. They would leave lolly pops for my kids after each apartment cleaning which delighted my two kiddos. Truly a wonderful experience and great clean and comfortable place to stay if you are visiting Skala Eresou. Our apartment was next to the street and noise was never an issue for sleeping but some locals, mostly on motorbike used the street often to get to the port side of town.

Sigri is lovely, small, sleepy town of about 400 people at the western tip of the island. Lesvos Tower is about 1 km out of the town, easily accessible by a seaside road. The property has been built over 20 years by the amazing hosts Dimitris and Evangelina. They are lovely, lovely people. When we arrived the first thing Evangelina said was, “Coffee?”. 🥰 And we got coffee with her marvellous apricot desert. They live on the property when in season. Going there is like visiting your lovely parents or grandparent. It is more of a home than a commercial property. And the premises are full of flowers and trees making it especially beautiful, given the otherwise barren land around Sigri. The buildings have been designed and built brick by brick by Dimitris and have a Byzantine architecture feel. He has even built a beautifully decorated chapel, which is a must see. There is also a very decent pool, great for kids. We stayed at the stand alone two room villa, which offered comfort and privacy. At night we were able to watch the Milky Way and the stars (the new port of Sigri does create a bit of light pollution, but it was less so at Lesvos Tower). Everytging was clean, the hospitality was above and beyond anything I have ever seen. It is also a perfect location for longer stays and for families. But my main comments is, one should go and stay Lesvos Tower just to meet the hosts, Dimitris and Evangelina…

Hosts were Amazing! I was sick for a couple of days, and they checked in with me frequently to be sure I was okay, that I had enough food, clean clothes, and medicine. Very home like/family feel. Apartment is just right. Clean, neat, cute little old world touches. There is no need for fancy concierge services when you're in Skala Eresou to experience the Real (incredible!) Greece! Highly recommended.
