All of the staff , beautiful people , wonderful sea views from our beautiful authentic room. Fantastic food , it was all so delicious. The village feel with little cobbled alleyways and streets lined with beautiful pot plants, so much character with the stone buildings, beautifully renovated, and tastefully decorated rooms. Surrounded by mountains, majestic scenery, but in the background tinkling lightly the bells around the sheep as the farmer is herding on his land, I would watch this from the beautifully set swimming pool, relaxing in the Cretan sun. Very friendly locals still live in the village, they are full of character and friendly smiles adding to the gorgeous atmosphere in this magical place .

A bit about the property: When you walk into the house the main bedroom is connected to the living room, there is a swinging saloon style door between the living room and main bedroom which is about 3/4 height of the doorway, so if you have a family, the main bedroom with the double bed might not have the best privacy. Note that the only AC is in the living room, so it cools the main bedroom as well since the cool air comes in from the top of the doorway. The second bedroom has two single beds and is better privacy since it has a proper door, but does not have AC only a fan. There's one bathroom, a washing machine and an area outside to hang clothing. The Pros of the apartment: Location is great base to explore the wine region and the southern coast. Very spacious place for two, nice little outdoor garden area, behind a gate. Bed was nice and comfortable. WiFi speed was 35 Mb which was sufficient for video calls. AC worked well. Plenty of parking.
