From the moment we checked in and met Harris on reception the whole visit was like a dream. Not only is she super friendly and helpful and knowledgeable she really goes out of her way to make your trip the most it can be. All the staff were lovely and polite and housekeeping went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The room was spacious and clean and the plunge pool was the perfect remedy for the heat. We will definitely be returning to this property as it is in a perfect location. Yes you don’t get the sunset view but to be honest that was a blessing. Cross the road and take a maximum of 20 steps and you are on the Caldera side to appreciate the sunset without a hoard of tourists walking past your room.

Everything was awesome. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with the queries. The pool deck was a perfect place to watch the sunset. The place was close to a lot of restaurants. The breakfast was amazing.

Fantastic location, close to Fira but still away from the real crowds. Well positioned for the bus to Oia too. A beautiful property with unbelievable views. Great hosts who were flexible on our check out time and responsive to any questions.

Everything was perfect! Annie was so lovely and care. She got us cold bottle water, apples and snack bars in the room in case we got hungry when get there. The apartment was clean and smelled fresh. The view at night by the balcony was pretty and peaceful. It was an easy 10-15 mins walk to wherever we wanted. And Annie was very available for any suggestions that we got. We traveled without cash, she even waived the city tax for us. Will stay again when we come back.

We LOVED everything about Astraea House! The airport shuttle arranged for us was fabulous, the men who portered our luggage from the drop off to the villa were outstanding, and oh my goodness the villa! We had such wonderful space for our group to spread out, be it inside or out. Just a few doors down from the bookstore and a few more steps into town. We truly hated to leave!

This hotel is exceptional in every aspect. I've travelled to many places in the world, and this hotel is in the top three. The service is outstanding, from the time the staff greets you with a small glass of Santorini wine, to the breakfast, cocktails in the evening, and the sunset over the patio to the amazing crater-harbor Santorini is famous for. Our room is impossible to describe, unique and elegant but comfortable, and decorated with the owner's personal art collection. Our only wish is that we had stayed longer. Because of bad weather, our ferry from Milos was delayed by two days, so we didn't get to enjoy this amazing hotel for as long as we had planned.
