Georgos was an amazing host. When we first arrived, our hotel room was double booked. He said he tried to contact us on my Canadian phone number, but I had a new card and did not check messages at the time. He should have communicated through the app. As a result, he did go out of his way to find us a place and he drove us all the way tot he other location which was about 20 minutes away at the edge of Kalamata city. The view was beautiful but it was a much different place near a busy road and without kitchen. Still, he ensured that we had a place to stay and said we could come back for our last day. When we arrived at his place finally the second time, he had a sweet lady take us up to our room, which was stunningly beautiful. The review of the room is based on this mixed experience at the end of our vacation. The view was amazing as were the sunsets over the mountains on the other side of the bay. I'm not sure what happened about the booking. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. The kettle was nice as was the kitchen sink but there wasn't a stove - but there was one in the hallway (perhaps it is shared). Also, we tried to reach him again but did not get a wifi code.

A gem! Wonderful location overlooking the beach with amazing views from the lobby and breakfast area (probably also some of the rooms but ours had no direct see view, still nice though). The facilities are all new and high quality, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had many vegetarian and vegan options, our room was cleaned daily and there was a relaxed caring atmosphere in the facility. We felt really welcome and would definitely return and recommend. The staff was open to feedback and was genuinely interested in providing a relaxing stay. We loved Diapori!

The apartment was squeaky clean, bright, organized and comfortable. Super comfy beds, linens and pillows. AC in each room. Lovely side balcony with table/chairs and view to the water. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials including a panini press. Great location close to markets, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants and town. Our host, Maria, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, so much so we extended our stay. She provided us with many recommendations for dining and sightseeing. In addition to a sweet treat upon arrival and a lovely gift of local olive oil at check-out, Maria dropped by with healing essential oils when she learned I wasn’t feeling well. Top notch hospitality from start to finish. There are many sights to see in Kalamata and surrounding area. The sunsets are stunning. Highly recommend Kalimera Suite.

The room was big and clean. If you wanted you could prepare a dinner or a lunch in the room. The staff was very nice and helpfull. Every morning they were bringing us the breakfast in the room and also if you wanted to eat the lunch or dinner they were bringing it in the room. My kids were very happy with the pool, they had a lot of fun. The beach was across the hotel and that was very good for us having 2 kids. The only problem that we had was with the internet, the connection was very bad.
