Frenk and Rosette are the host. Frenk speaks good English but we only dealt with him by phone. Rosette speaks Italian but she is charming and delightful. She and my wife were instant friends. She did everything to make our stay good. We would stay again if in the area. Everything was good, clean and modern.

One of the most charming B&B we ever stayed in. Just at the foot of the castle walls. A medieval house with all the amenities of a modern home. Stunning views from the little balcony. The breakfast, served in the piazza, was delicious. The hosts were helpful and welcoming.

The room was beautiful, with an even more gorgeous view. Dinner was excellent, and they accommodated our request for a vegetarian meal with no issues. The language barrier was a bit of a challenge, staff speak very little English. I was fortunately able to get by because I speak Spanish and a very kind waiter spoke Spanish fairly well. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it highly, a beautiful stay surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Elena’s property was stellar! If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Elena was a wonderful host; she met us, told us where to park and took us to our apartment. Our room had two windows; one overlooked the quaint street, and the other a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment itself was a perfect size for my husband and me. Each morning, we went down one flight of stairs to the kitchen where Antonella was waiting to pamper us with coffee, cappuccino, cornetto, juice, and granola. Besides the Bed & Breakfast, Elena has a restaurant called Rupp Diun. All I can say is W.O.W! We told Elena our food preferences, (I am a vegetarian, for example), and she totally customized the meal that she prepared. Elena has a gift for making you feel like family. We ate at Rupp Diun multiple times because when the food is that good, why go anywhere else! It was fun to meet Elena's family and friends throughout our stay! Full disclosure: my grandmother was born in Colobraro in 1897, and I am on a mission to find out anything I can about my Italian roots. I probably would not have visited Colobraro if not for my grandmother, but what a shame that would have been. Elena and her friend Maria were extremely helpful in guiding me with my search. This beautiful, welcoming hill-top town with the most charming people should be on the bucket list of those that are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to make my way back to this charming city that is filled with townspeople that welcome you with enthusiasm and pride that leaves you with a longing to return. The location was breathtaking. We were two families, and the rooms assigned were "Alba" (sunrise) and "Tramonto"(sunset), and those names aptly justified their names. Although we stayed just for a day, we were able to enjoy the sunset at our friends' room, while the sunrise was spectacular from our room. The rooms had spectacular views overlooking the valley and the mountains. The Ionian Sea was also visible from the height and distance. The location is great, near the historic center, with a great home run restaurant, "Rupp Diun," nearby. Otherwise, the place is a quaint getaway from the hustle of the cities. The rooms have all the amenities required. The breakfast was okay, featuring packed croissants, toast, juice, milk, coffee, jams, and more. However, the dining area, as well as the rooms, features refrigerators that can be easily used to store food. Piero and Maria are great hosts, polite, accommodating, and always present on the phone. I would go back there again. I would highly recommend this place if you want a couple of days away from your busy routine and want to recharge close to nature. Walking in the historic center is refreshing, where we found a 12th-century castle and a 12th-century church for San Nicola di Bari.

The hosts were so helpful and friendly. He even moved a table and chairs outside for us as soon as we got there so we could enjoy some lovely local oranges he shared with us, as we soaked in the beautiful coastal sunshine. The entire inn was clean and inviting. The location is perfect with water views from the terrace. Only steps away to the water in one direction, and shopping, restaurants, and markets in the other direction. On-site parking, lovely room, great breakfast! Amendolara is a lovely seaside town with charming appeal.

this property is a gem surrounded by olive and lemon trees. The rooms are really spacious and so clean! You can feel the love and care they put into small details such as towels, bed, kitchen and some beautiful gardens that you can see are well taken care of. There is a hammock and some chairs in the farden where you can sit and read or simply admire the beautiful landscape. You can walk in the area. The owners are a family and I felt very comfortable and taken care of. Their breakfast is amazing and everything is made by them. Would 100% recommend.
