It was great to have the train station nearby to travel to and from the cinque terre villages. We chose La Spezia as our main stay at Cinque terre, lower prices, reasonable restaurant prices and easy to walk to different destinations. It’s also flat. No walking uphill!!

    We had a wonderful time at CaseMaggi. As other reviews note, yes there are stairs but it was no issue for us when we got to enjoy such a fantastic view. It was great to walk off all the pasta too! We travelled with our toddler who loved the bath and spacious rooms. Having two bathrooms was a bonus! The buses run regularly out the front so it was easy to access town and restaurants. The host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend- Thank you so much for having us we hope we can come back one day !!
