The very friendly welcome. Coffee and water being served In the garden with a magnificent view on the castle. Then the room, immediately embraces us, so nice, comfortable . The owners asked whether we needed somethings, but no this place has everything.. after a good night rest , due to comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast brought us back to earth. We feel we left paradise, after closing the door.

This hotel was SUCH a surprise treat! My teenage son was performing at the Teatro Nuovo with his high school in Spoleto, and I booked this hotel because it had a pool. What I didn't realize was that it was a HUGE property with all sorts of animals (Donkeys, Turkeys, Chickens, Sheep...), a pool, tennis courts, futsal courts, volleyball, and more! The property was a little out of the way from Spoleto proper (about 15m) but it was absolutely spectacular. My youngest son fell in love with their dog Archie and frankly all of the animals. The owners could NOT have been more amazing! They helped us with our bags, had a lovely breakfast in the morning, and let us roam the property and hang out with all of the animals. We more or less had the property to ourselves as it was off season but there were 1 or 2 other couples there as well. We will absolutely come back to Spoleto and this spot will be our first choice!!!

We recently stayed at Laura's beautiful La Dolce Vita apartment, and can honestly say that it has been our best experience with a tourist accommodation in more than a dozen years as full time travelers. La Dolce Vita is spacious, impeccably clean, well equipped, functional, and with a tasteful and serene decor that is relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Although it is in the heart of the historic center of Spoleto, we found it very quiet and had a very restful experience. Our host Laura took great care to ensure that we had everything we needed, from picking us up at the train station to dropping us off at the end of our stay, as well as retrieving an item we left behind and going out of her way to deliver it to us. In our many travel experiences, it is always the connections with people we remember the most, and Laura's kindness and hospitality made our visit to Spoleto very spécial. Mille grazie, Laura!

Great place to relax. Beautiful spot and historic location. Walter made coffee which I didn’t find on my long walk there and he cooked me my first real meal on this Camino. Loved the interior too
