Amazing stay. I was a bit unsure because there was just one review before me. Turns out, the place just opened one week ago. But it's so great. The place is in a traditional style, but recently renovated, with amazing Ghibli decoration everywhere. The location is right next to the street with merchant houses. Jun, the manager, is truly a great guy, and really loves his job, and Kuku, the dog, likes to play with humans. The amenities are clean, and very functional, and the entrance is a very stylish bar, that helps socialising. If you want more opinions, just check the place with the same name in Niigata, that's also Jun's work, and the reviews are great. Perfect for solo travelers.

The facility was very clean, easy access to food on the first floor, lounge space was very nice, vending machines and laundry available. I chose to stay in a private room that was spacious with bunk beds. Sink was in the room as well as a small desk and sitting space. Check in process was pretty easy, discount on the local public bathhouse. They let me store my luggage there while I explored the amazing city, and its perfectly placed right in the area I wanted to explore the most.
