The property itself and its amenities were prefect. Esthetically it was a dream. Everything was comfortable and well thought out. Even the minor details of providing candy for kids, stocking up the kitchen with cooking supplies and food to providing supplies for my pet was a step above and beyond. The place could easily fit many people. We had a family of 5 (3 adults, one teen and one young child) plus a small dog. We all enjoyed the place very much.

This is genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff at the ryokan went above and beyond, from greeting me at the entrance to curating a dinner menu based on my dietary needs.

We rode the Shimanami Kaido. This hotel is near the Onominchi side. Very clean. The owner met us when we rode up and helped us find food and even gave us chopsticks when we got back from buying food and realized we had nothing to eat with. Water boiler and refrigerator. Great view. Balcony. Off the path so very quiet.

Though the location is quite mysterious, especially in the evening, the guesthouse itself gave an exciting and charming atmosphere : small sign, back door entry, painting on ceiling and vivid color of stairs. I love these so much. The single room was in ryokan style which is nice and comfortable mattress. They had everything in need; even umbrella which I appreciate so much cause it rained on that day I came.
