Stayed in delux twin room with tatami floor. Quiet, spacious room and inconvenient location for sightseeing in Nara. The restaurant at 1F was excellent, too. Had dinners there and enjoyed it so much.

Great location, 15 minutes walk to Nara Park. Very nice and clean rooms, and lovely staff! They also offer laundry service, so my laundry was taken care of and ready in just half a day.

Everything! The atmosphere was magical — peaceful, authentic, and deeply connected to the history of Nara. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The property is a traditional Japanese extensive farmhouse part of which is a cozy, private modern apartment. It is located on a quiet lane in a small village that is a convenient base for seeing many temples and experiencing lovely hikes as well as for visiting cities like Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. It is a ten minute walk to the Miminashi train station for the Kintetsu Line. The owners are warm and very welcoming, multilingual, and knowledgeable about places of interest nearby. We stayed six days and felt very much at home in a beautiful area of Japan.
