Great for Winter and Summer activities. Our room overlooking the lake had a Japanese feel but was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! It is a 2 minute walk from the Lake Nojiri, which is super convinient as you can do SUP, kayaking and other water activities there and then return to the hotel to rest. For those staying with the kids, there is TV with youtube/netfilx and of course - internet if you want to bring your own device. They went out of service plan to give us hospitality. The common area has many utensils so that we could heat and eat our dinner. The kids room is simple, roomy, and has new games. Our kids spent good time playing in those rooms. Staff has mixed (Japanese and non-Japanese staff) nationalities, so comfortable for travellers. Rooms are big, clean.
