Family hotels and homes in Nongkhiaw

This is a super unique, super serene place that was worth a two night splurge for us. Our bungalow was very clean, very modern and very comfortable, and even the deck outside felt very private. You can swim right from your door, and the quiet setting and views were magical! We really enjoyed the breakfast - the sticky rice treats were a nice surprise - and the staff was friendly and helpful. Free bikes were also a great perk, we took them out for a day of cave exploration!

First of all the manager of the place took care of all of our needs and was so attentive I can't even express how important that is. Especially when you're out traveling in quite remote areas of the country. There is so many things the exceeded our expectations in this resort I don't even know where to start. The manager as already mentioned is a rare gem. The location is sublime! It's a short car or boat ride from the town but you find yourself in a secluded greenery overlooking the river and hills of the mountains around. Villas / rooms are humongous, well designed, clean with breathtaking view. There is a boat and car shuttle that runs quite often to bring you to and from the town which is absolutely amazing. Especially the boat is an experience in itself. The staff is super! nice, helpful and attentive. I would go back there anytime.

We had a garden bungalow and it was really pretty and peaceful. The bungalow was comfy with plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom. It was fan only but with the curtains closed in the day that kept it cool enough. Having a porch to relax in was great. The owner was really helpful and they also can arrange trips out including trekking and kayaking. The restaurant is a short walk away from the bungalows but in a village this quiet it didn't seem an issue and the views over the river and boat jetty was the perfect spot for breakfast.

The room was super nice and clean! I loved being able to by the balcony overlooking the river. The stay included free breakfast and there were quite a few options!
