Everything. But for sure number 1 was the staff. They were amazing and went above and beyond. My 5 year old son loved them and it takes him ages to warm to people. They played with him loads and showed him all around. He was so sad to leave them. The food was also amazing.

Wonderful time at Majentra Ella Hotel! The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony with the great view. The food at the hotel was delicious, with both local and international options. Breakfast definitely a highlight! The staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, including arranging transportation to do things in the area (Big shoutout to Majit). Overall, I highly recommend Majentra Ella Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great food and service.

This has been one of our absolute favorite stays in Sri Lanka. The view was beautiful of the mountains and you can see the train go by. The owner was fantastic, made us the most delicious breakfast and on checkout day we had to leave early and he even sent us a yummy to go breakfast. He was so kind and helpful and even helped us order food delivery the one night we felt too lazy to go back out. Highly recommend!

Shiraz is the most genuinly nice guy you'll ever met. Except for the clean room with amazing view, he can also cook for you delicious breakfast or dinner. I had two incidents while in Ella, one with my laptop, one my scooter. He went out of his way to help me out. He drove with me to his friend's laptop repair shop and also to his mechanic, which gave me a good price. He was even willing to give me parts from his scooter (we have identical models) 😂😂 You'll be shocked by how nice this guy is. I loved his place here in the mountains of Sri Lanka. Next winter when I'll be visiting Sri Lanka again, will definitely be back here. Thank you for everything, brother.
